There are 2 train stations in Ghent. 'Dampoort' and 'Gent-Sint-Pieters'. We recommend arriving at Gent-Sint-Pieters. Here you can take line T1 (tram). It will bring you straight to “Gravensteen” or to “Korenmarkt”. From there it’s a 10 min walk to our b&b. Use Google Maps to check live updates regarding the tram network.
Arriving at Dampoort? We recommend to take a taxi/Uber or a nice 20 min. walk through the city.
You can easily rent bikes at the general bike point in town. This is located under the library “De Krook”. The address is: Miriam Makebaplein 1/floor 2
Tickets for the tram can best be bought via the tram company app. You can find it in every app store "De Lijn". Here you can buy digital tickets.
If you buy a 'City Card' at the tourist office, you can use it for travelling with the tram as well!
Our full address is: Sint-Margrietstraat 52, 9000 Gent.

Breakfast / shared kitchen
When we are on holidays, we like to dive into the city and have breakfast in one of the many breakfast places. That's why breakfast is not included. We made a list of our favourites, so you can check them out in advance and make reservations. In those places you’ll start the day with a big smile.
